BlackBerry Curve Outsells iPhone

BlackBerry is performing very well with their newest line of phones. The BlackBerry Curve out sold the iPhone in the first Quarter of sales for this year thanks to heavy promotion in the Version Wireless Buy one get one free sale and its high availability on all four of the USA’s major network providers where as the iPhone can only be found on the AT&T network unless unlocked.

The Blackberry curve is packed with features and performance for a reasonable price which is making it a sensation among smart phone users (i.e. us geeks and nerds alike). The such an array of uses a geek could be playing brick breaker on his while the nerd across the room is busy Googling tropical fish breeding.

I have only had my Curve for about two weeks but I have almost nothing but good things to say. It is very fast, the camera is great, the internet doesn’t suck (big plus), and there is a decent selection of apps out there for it. If i had to choose one feature that really amazed me on this gadget was the fact that i knows when it is in its case and you can set it to act differently when it is put up. No but dialing and no phone going off in class thank to this simple but ingenious idea.

If you really want to get the most out of it I recommenced you hit up eBay or newegg for a nice size micro sd. I have an 8gb in mine. Shortly after buying it (i.e. 2 hours) i had filled up the extremely limited internal memory with my camera happiness. I give the BlackBerry Curve an 8.5 out of 10 as I do not like the inconvenient menu system with very minuscule icons.
